The best trail days start before the sun is fully up, and Westside Market opens earlier than most places in Whitefish. That means real coffee before the trailhead, a breakfast burrito before the climb, and a cold one waiting when you come back down.
Before the climb
Pull in early for an espresso and grab-and-go kitchen food that rides well in a pack, made fresh in the store rather than sitting under a gas-station heat lamp. Fill a water bottle, grab what you need for the miles ahead, and top off the tank at the Cenex pumps out front so the drive to the trailhead is the last thing on your mind.
After the descent
Come off the trail to cold beer and fine wine from the bottle shop and a real meal from the kitchen if the day left you hungry. We are open late enough that a long day on the mountain does not mean coming home to a closed door.
